BACARDÍ® Rum and Janelle Monáe Celebrate Halloween with Star-Studded Wondaween Festivities in Los Angeles

Keke Palmer, Trevor Jackson, Kendrick Sampson, Natasha Rothwell, Amber Riley and more joined the Halloween celebrations, featuring Wondaween Festival: Creature Carnival and an exclusive VVIP party.

LOS ANGELES, November 1, 2026 – BACARDÍ® Rum, the world's most awarded rum, joined forces with the ultimate HalloQUEEN, Janelle Monáe, for her ultra-exclusive Wondaween: Creature Camp celebration on Halloween night in Los Angeles.

Marking the second consecutive year of their Halloween partnership, BACARDÍ and Janelle brought together an eclectic crowd of celebrities and tastemakers, including Keke Palmer, Trevor Jackson, Kendrick Sampson, Leon Thomas, Natasha Rothwell, Haywood Highsmith Jr., Amber Riley, Ravyn Lenae, Buddy and Kyle Dion, for a night of imaginative costumes, music and Halloween revelry. Held at a private Hollywood Hills residence, the invite-only affair transported guests into a spine-chilling woodland retreat, complete with eerie campgrounds, immersive creature-inspired experiences and custom BACARDÍ Rum cocktails.

Among the night's standout moments, Janelle made a dramatic entrance in her Mother Creature costume, while Keke Palmer channeled Frankenstein, Trevor Jackson sported a shark attack costume and Natasha Rothwell donned a cozy bear onesie.

The Halloween festivities kicked off early on October 29 with Wondaween Festival: Creature Carnival at Santa Monica Pier, where Janelle surprised festivalgoers with a showstopping costume reveal as The Amazing Phish Boy, followed by a live performance. As Wondaween's official spirits partner for the second consecutive year, BACARDÍ Rum brought the Halloween spirit to life with custom cocktail bars, while guests enjoyed live music from Shaun Ross, DJ Millie, Nana Kwabena and more, alongside festive carnival bites and access to the Pier's iconic rides.

Across both celebrations, guests enjoyed signature BACARDÍ cocktails, including Janelle's personal favorite, the BACARDÍ Spookito, made with BACARDÍ Superior Rum, mint, lime and grenadine. Additional Halloween-inspired serves included the Creature of the Night Lemonade, Piña-Ghoul-Ada Spritz and BOO-CARDÍ & Cola.

About BACARDÍ® Rum – The World's Most Awarded Rum

In 1862, in the city of Santiago de Cuba, founder Don Facundo Bacardí Massó revolutionized the spirits industry when he created a light-bodied rum with a particularly smooth taste – BACARDÍ. The unique taste of BACARDÍ rum inspired cocktail pioneers to invent some of the world's most famous recipes including the BACARDÍ Mojito, the BACARDÍ Daiquiri, the BACARDÍ Cuba Libre, the BACARDÍ Piña Colada and the BACARDÍ El Presidente. BACARDÍ rum is the world's most awarded spirit, with more than 1,000 awards for quality, taste and innovation. Today, BACARDÍ rum is made mainly in Puerto Rico where it is crafted to ensure the taste remains the same today as it did when it was first blended in 1862. www.BACARDÍ.com
